2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Compute monthly mortgage and refinancing estimates.
- Feed context to the AI CoPilot Chatbot to answer your questions accurately.
- Connect you with up to 3 competitive mortgage brokers or lenders (only when you explicitly opt-in).
- Optimize and improve the usability of our calculator tool.
3. Explicit Consent & Sharing
We will **never** sell or share your contact details or financial profile with lenders without your explicit, check-box authorization. By checking the consent box on our matching form and submitting, you authorize us to route your profile details to verified lenders who will contact you regarding pre-approval quotes.
4. Security & Vaulting
We secure your records in Cloud Firestore. Administrative default configurations and database-level security protocols prevent unauthorized access. We do not collect or store highly sensitive records like Social Security Numbers (SSNs), tax returns, or bank account numbers.
5. Regulatory Compliance (GLBA & CCPA)
As an operator of a mortgage calculator, we adhere to the **Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)** privacy protections for nonpublic personal financial information.
